In Europe, Mediawan has acquired the motorcycle series of Bike World while Canal+ will show Dark Secret on its Crime & Investigation channel. Czech commercial channel Prima TV acquired a package including The Missing Tourist, The Dinosaur Echo, Arctic Quest as well as History titles The Perseus Survivor, The Search for the USS Lagarto, WWII: The Price of the Empire and After The Armada, which will also be shown in Sweden through Axess TV along with Cromwell's Head, Grand Tours of the Scottish Lochs and Who Put the Klan in Ku Klux Klan. Discovery channel DMAX has bought the six-part series War Machines for its German speaking territories. Food Safari Water has been acquired by AMC Cochina for Spain.

The upcoming series of Outback Truckers will be premiering on A+E Network Blaze in the UK and on RMC Decouverte in France while earlier series of Outback Truckers have been picked up for North America by Nat Geo. TVO in Canada has acquired Only Me Generation, My Sheepdog and Me, Off the Beaten Track with Kate Humble and Nicholas and Alexandra: The Letters while APT will show Grand Tours of Scotland's Lochs and WWII: The Price of the Empire in the US.

TVB in Hong Kong has licensed the BBC series A Stitch in Time and long-running travel series Overland and A Taste of Travel, which has also been picked up by public broadcaster RTB in Brunei. Overland has also been acquired by Travel and Adventure TV in Russia. Discovery Poland has licensed history titles I Killed JFK and Emmeline Pankhurst: The Making of a Militant. COSMOTE in Greece will be showing My Greek Odyssey and The Sense of Beauty, which has also been acquired by New Zealand Pay TV Sky Network along The Divorce.
